See the truth enable sight through your damaged cornea, We got the formula from Oakland, California
Sup my family? It's your boy lil "a". So this week was good! We had a ton of ward activities. Last Thursday we watched "the new Joseph Smith movie". Friday we had a talent show, and my DL and I did this skit (el mas importante) se llama ok, and we just had all these papers on the stage set up, and my DL was just yelling at me the whole time, "Where is it? Where is that paper??" I'm freaking out throwing papers all over the place trying to find this paper for him, and then he finds it. He pulls out of this bag a roll of toilet paper, and runs off the stage. ahahilarious. Then on Saturday, we cleaned our church and ate nachos. I played basketball and killed. Um, we had a barbecue today and um.., the only other interesting thing that happened was that this paper factory lit on fire and then burned to the ground like 100 meters from my house. Then the voluntary firemen showed up like an hour later to put it out. It was crazy though. I have never seen a fire until this one (which happened on .. Friday?). It was insane. Anyways, thanks for sending me the pics. I love 'em! It's good to see all your your faces. Speaking of which, what happened to your begota (mustache) Ben? Liza's hair looks really cool in that picture w\Adam and Rozzi. I'm glad you got your Mother's Day card, and I'm glad Peter and Laura will have room in their house for me to come stay with them. I might be speaking 'quet chi next week. I'll let you know. k, love arn hwrd

Party like a Rock Star
K, so talking on the phone was really great. It was great hearing all your voices, especially 'cause it had been the longest time that I hadn´t talked with you (Mom) Dad, Adam and Ben (four months). It was great talking to Peter and Laura, too. I talked with my bishop last night and he asked us what was the hardest thing about leaving on a mission. I told him that for sure it was leaving my family behind (especially Chip). Then last night, I just looked at my pictures from home and ate a ton of chocolate while my "cousin", Elder Primo, talked to his family. So you are MISSED everyone. So other than that, the only really interesting things that happened this week were: two people got shot in front of our church, we got our investigator family to go to church, and we lost the 7 year old daughter for like 3 hours and so I was freaking out. She was found at her uncle's house. Today we went to the temple. The temple was better 'cause I can now understand and speak fine. What happened is, the sessions are really small, ok, and they give you these little numbers to get into the sessions 'cause they can only hold like 24 people 'cause it's so small. Anyways, what happened is that Elder Falabella (the first quorum of the 70) was in my same session and also President Clark (second quorum of the 70). So all the temple workers wanted everything to start on time. Anyways, I forgot my number deal and so I ran back to my locker to grab it out of my pants, and in my rush to get back I forgot my packet, so long story short, I didn't notice until half way through the session, and I caused a long ruckus for two members of the 70, haha. I think that's all I can say about that, if that. So anyways, have a great week, and tell everyone hello that I couldn't talk to. Thanks! LV ARN DNL HWRD

´´We´re taking it for the kids!´´
Oh, so the the man with the the four thousand dollar suit is going to hold the elevator for the guy that doesn´t make that much in three months. COME ON! k, so thanks for the advice, appreciate it. My companion has been a member for his whole life and he has a car and I don't think he's that poor. His dad makes really nice shoes that cost a pretty Sol, and Latinos are not usually the ones trying to be the ¨super missionary¨. ´They just have a ton of pride. Anyways the only major thing that happened this week is that we had interviews with President Torres yesterday (which is why I'm writing you today). I´m senior comp, now and my comp isn't very happy.... that what's up. HEY, I´m going to call you at like 7 or 8 at night (so like 8 or 9) on Sunday (I think), and if I don´t, expect a call Monday o.k? Also I´m sending your Mothers Day card maƱana, so expect something in like 3 weekishs and porfa send my micro sd back asap 'cause Ben's 4 gig micro sd card that he traded me, that didn´t work for his little mp3 deal, is HD so it also doesn´t work in my camera (genius Aaron) O.K., umm.. I think that is all. Oh, could you also find out my ´´confirmation date porfa´´ when I was baptized, 'cause apparently I need this to fix my ldsmail or whtev. FYI I draw every missionary something (at least the ones I know and like) and probably a fourth the time I draw something during lessions and I ALWAYS draw in church! 'cause Guatemalans are so interesting!! Oh, I just remembered something else. We had zona conference and Elder Falabella of the 70 spoke to us. It was pretty interesting, and we had the conference in my first area so there was like an hour and a half break between meetings, so these 2 missionaries and I went around and talked to some members (the ones that would give us food). It was great! k adios family HEART arn

Taggers and Axle
Mom, we aren't working with anyone. No one wants to listen to us. I'm getting used to people lying to me. On Tuesday I ate some really great Nicaraguan tostadas or something, IDK, but the next day I was SO sick. We had district meeting and I almost died. I threw up and was so weak I couldn't walk and I had some crazy fever and a lot of other things, but I got a blessing and the next day I felt better. Ummm, I'm getting really tired of my comp. Um.. I don't know... we had a bbq today with my zone. Um.... I'm fed up with this area to be perfectly honest. I'm glad you got to visit Disneyland, Hoover Dam, and the beach. That's really cool. I want to go more places in the States when I get home. Oh, we get to talk on Mother's Day! The 10th of Mayo! That's something to look forward to. lOve Arn

Yup in a white T I break a b back and I keep a big bank o I think they like that
K, I am SO jealous that you are going to Disneyland, and I don't think that I can emphasis that enough. Hey, so I don't really have anything to say. The coolest thing that happened to me this week was that I drank out of an enormous tea cup at my bishop's house. Um, my comp is insane and seriously, he likes to cook so I eat like a Peruvian every lunch (which is pretty much just rice, fyi). Um, I built a foundation, for someone's house that is falling into a canyon, out of tires and dirt. I might have already told you that, but my district worked on it more this week. Um.. pretty much the only people that we have to teach in this area are kids cause adults won't listen. Um, for p- day we played dodge ball and rode bumper cars today. There has been some insane rain around here and other than that nothing's up...... Happy Birthday, Peter (what the heck are you and Laura doing, porfa?) Um... volley ball with the Gelders, always a good time. Anyways, let me know how Disneyland goes. Don't crack your head open waiting for Splash Mountain, otherwise you won´t remember how much fun you had. k adios love SON NUMBER ONE.. or fourth.

I ain't a player hater, but I hate to see a player die.
Holy cow! What are you talking about "nothing's going on"? I can't believe you are going to Disneyland! Adam in California, Grandpa and Grandma in Zions, and Matthew in China and Moscow! That is something! Yeah, that's cool. Hey, that would be cool if you sent me some stuff from Cody's blog. I'm sending you my taxes back, and my micro sd card in the same place you put it, this week, so you should be getting it in 3-5 weeks umm.... What happened this week?... Well, last Monday after I wrote you, my comp and I went to this shop where you can print out any sticker you want, any size and any color. They just edit it for you on photo shop, and then it's printed off and cut out with a laser -pretty cool- I bought a K2 sticker, but while we were waiting, this guy came up to us and was like "hey do you guys like to sing?" me - YES. "Well, could you help me out with the pronunciation of some songs really quick?" YES! O.K. So we went in this sticker shop (all the stores are barred shut by the way) and went up- stairs to the sweetest Karaoke music studio set up ever. This guy is a singer named Rigo or something, but he just had us sing this one song, and he was like, "O. K., here's my computer and here are the other songs I have lyrics for. Shoot immediately I saw Ace of Base - The Sign, best thing that has happened to me (other than bringing people unto Christ)! My comp picked a song by Aqua.... I'd rather not say... Nervana, Smells Like Teen Spirit. We tried to sing Hey Jude (Beatles), but it was in Spanish so it was super weird, and the last song sang was Beat It-Michael Jackson cool. So that was cool..um there was a crazy hail storm here and we almost died cause the hail was like NO JOKE marble sized, but it only lasted for like 20 minutes.... I'm trying to teach this guy named Victor, but it's hard 'cause he thinks he's already a member of the church, and he never comes to church, his wife can't walk, he lies, smokes and drinks. He's just insane, and I'll just say anything to him without shame 'cause he'll probably forget it two minutes later. He told us he quit smoking and then, like 4 hours later, we saw him smoking again. So on Friday, I just took his pack of cigarettes from him, asked him how many times he smokes a day (he said four), and I told him O. K. this week you can only smoke two times a day, and I'm writing on each cigarette which day you can smoke them. That's what I did, but we'll see what happens. There is this super cool guy that my comp and I contacted the other day. He like let us into his house and showed us his sweet music studio. His name is Douglas Flores and he's a music producer/artist. He's a super young evangelica singer guy so we probably won't be able to convert him at all cause he pretty much is the Church, but this guy produces like a ton of music (from Guatemala and the US). He showed me some sweet Jesus hip-hop (Josh Macosh - Life) and he tried to get me to call you 'cause he has a thumb drive that you plug into your computer and you can call anywhere in the states for free... but I told him I couldn't. Anyways, we had our baptism on Saturday, and our guy didn't know how to take the water so he tried to dive over the guy's arm that was performing the baptism and it wasn't smooth at all. Um, I met this super cool kid named Anderson, and he wanted a Bible from us, but I told him the Book of Mormon was better and he took it and started reading it in the street for like 5 minutes. I asked him if he wanted to go to church with us and he did, so we took him and his mom let us, and then we took him to eat lunch with a family after church so we might be able to baptize him. I met a kid with a really cool puppy named Rocky...We had change conference today and my new comp is from Peru. His last name is Primo (which means cousin), and he's really cool. I don't really know that much about him.. he likes to cook, he has really cool music (like Iron and Wine), soccer, volleyball. Um, he speaks a little bit of q'quechi 'cause he was in Cobon for a long time... and he's been here for a year. Das wuz up. RN HWRD
